Bluebird Chalk Paints are water based paints which do not require any sanding or priming.
The topcoat sealant/wax for the Bluebird Chalk Paint is Bluebird Polyurethane Clear Coat.
Chalk Paints can be applied on wood, metal, concrete, and terracotta planters.
500ml Chalk Paint covers 60sqft 2 coats
That’s enough to cover a double bed or a standard door (two sides)
Polyurethane Clear Coat topcoat has the same coverage
It works on colours of all bases however would require over 4 coats on dark surfaces, so more paint required.
Another solution is to base coat with 3 in 1 water based primer, that could save you a coat or two and is totally compatible.
